Terms of service

Last updated September 2, 2026

This site (teaching.defreez.com) is run by Daniel DeFreez for students in his courses at Southern Oregon University and for people he has invited to follow the self-study material. Using it means agreeing to the following.

Accounts and access

Anyone with a Google account can sign in, but course materials are only visible to accounts the instructor has placed in a course group. Your session cookie and any command-line tokens you generate are yours alone; do not share them, and revoke a token from your profile page if it is exposed.

Coursework

Work you submit must be your own, subject to the collaboration rules stated in each course's syllabus. Submitting through this site does not change the university's academic integrity policy, which still applies.

Course materials

Lecture notes, slides, assignments, and exercises on this site are for your personal study in the course. Do not republish them elsewhere without permission.

Availability

The site is provided as is. It may be unavailable at times, and a deadline is not extended by an outage unless the instructor says so.
